Cory McPherson started his cooking career when he was just 15 years old working at local restaurant in New Jersey. At the age of 23 years old, he attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After graduation, he worked in Atlanta for the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Buckhead Life Restaurants, Kevin Rathbun and Lettuce Entertain You.
Arriving back East, Cory was the Executive Chef at Fitz Patrick Hotels, and Kimpton Hotels. In 2008, he opened his first restaurant in the North Side of Williamsburg named WilliamsBurger.
In April of 2019, Cory decided to expand the possibility of this neighbourhood spot. In retiring WilliamsBurger's classic burger-joint aesthetic and menu, Cory has introduced more regional classics. Inspired by the farm-to-table movement, our new menu features seasonal favorites. From our small plates selection of market vegetables to new entrees and fresh seafood, Bistro On Graham has something for everyone. And for our loyal burger-lovers... do not despair, our locally sourced and high-quality beef hamburgers aren't going anywhere.
